On December 4, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between the Hubei Higher People's Court and Wuhan University was held, in which the university will jointly establish the Hubei Innovation Base of Legal Guarantee for Institutional Openness with the court. You Quanrong, Secretary of the Party Group and President of Hubei Higher People's Court, Li Qunxing, member of the Party Group and Vice President of Hubei Higher People's Court, President Dou Xiankang, Vice President Wu Ping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, Shen Zhuanghai, Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, Sun Deyuan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Law School, Feng Guo, Dean of the School, Xiao Yongping, Director of the International Law Institute, Huang Zhixiong, Vice Dean of the School, attended the ceremony. Shen Zhuanghai presided over the ceremony.

Li Qunxing and Wu Ping signed the cooperation agreement, You Quanrong and Dou Xiankang unveiled a plaque for the base, and Dou Xiankang presented You Quanrong with an appointment letter as a part-time professor of Wuhan University. Dean Feng Guo introduced the cooperation between Wuhan University Law School and Hubei Higher People's Court.

The university will also jointly build a demonstration student practice base with Hubei Higher People's Court, and jointly carry out academic research and high-end legal talent education and teaching training.
