From 16 to 18 November, the Central Work Conference on the Comprehensive Rule of Law was held in Beijing, systematically elaborating Xi Jinping's thought on the rule of law in a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

Dean Feng Guo attended the conference as a representative of the university and was interviewed by CCTV. He said, "As legal educators, we should earnestly study, deeply understand, accurately interpret and deeply propagate the thought, especially to increase the training of foreign-related rule of law talent for providing a strong guarantee to safeguard national sovereignty, security and development interests".
