On 24 November 2020, 2020 Undergraduate Student Recognition Ceremony & New Year's Eve Party was held. Sun Deyuan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Law School, Dean Feng Guo, Hu Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Wu Yiwen, Vice Dean, Ye Xiaoqin, Secretary General of the Mark Chang Law Foundation, Guo Li, Director of the Office of Han Depei Law Foundation, Xiang Yan, Director of the Legal Aid Centre of Wuhan University, Qiao Xiongbing, Zhou Wei, Ban Xiaohui, Zhang Hong, Wang Defu and Zhu Lei, representatives of the class tutors, Zhang Qiong, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, Yu Yi, Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee and hundreds of undergraduate students attended the event.

In 2020, the Wuhan University School of Law has achieved many promising results in terms of study, practice, competition and resistance to epidemics. The leaders presented awards to outstanding students and outstanding teachers of the Law School. They are: students who have been awarded the National Scholarship, Han Depei Scholarship, Ma Kechang Scholarship and other scholarships, and who have the top three GPAs; Team members who won awards in the 5th China Youth Volunteer Service Project Competition, the 6th China International "Internet+" Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the 2020 National Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program; Advanced Class Collectives and Excellent Youth League Branches of Wuhan University for the 2019-2020 academic year and other outstanding Associations; students on the frontline of fighting against epidemic. In addition, the leaders also presented the title of "Outstanding Tutor of Extracurricular Academic and Scientific Innovation Activities" to Xiang Yan, Ban Xiaohui and Zhang Qiong, and the title of "Outstanding Class Tutor" to Qiao Xiongbing and Wang Defu.

After the recognition ceremony, the New Year's Eve Party kicked off. Choral, solo, sitcom performances and other programs were applauded by the audience. In the warm applause, the Recognition Ceremony and New Year's Day party came to a perfect end.
