Recently, the results of the 8th Science Research Famous Achievement Award in Higher Institution (Humanities and Social Sciences) were announced. 8 achievements of our school were awarded, including 3 first-class awards, 4 second-class awards and 1 third-class award.

“Research on the Legal Issues of Building Cross-Strait Interaction Mechanism” of Prof. Zhou Yezhong, “Conflict of Laws in the People's Republic of China” of Prof. Xiao Yongping, and “Main Problems and Countermeasures Suggestions of Current Research on Party Regulations” of Prof. Qin Qianhong, won the first prize. "International Rule of Law and the Construction of Rule of Law in China" of Prof. Zeng Lingliang, "Freedom of Contract in Corporate Law - From the Perspective of the Restraint Clause on Disposition of Shares"of Prof. Feng Guo, "Administrative Transition and Responsive Changes in Administrative Law" of Prof. Jiang Guohua and "On the Noumena of International Law" (second edition) of Prof. Luo Guoqiang won the second prize. “Studies on Chinese Constitutional Culture” of Prof. Chen Xiaofeng won the third prize.

The selection of the awards produced a total of 1539 awards, including 1241 awards for books and dissertations, including 152 first-class, 783 second-class and 306 third-class awards; 77 awards for consultancy service reports, including 10 first-class, 47 second-class and 20 third-class awards; 20 awards for popular reading materials; and 201 awards for youth achievements. According to the statistical results, the law discipline projects and the research projects on Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan won a total of 85 prizes for books and dissertations, 8 prizes for consultancy service reports, 1 prize for popular reading and 13 prizes for youth achievements.

Science Research Famous Achievement Award in Higher Institution (Humanities and Social Sciences) is a national award in the category of humanities and social sciences in higher education. It is reported that our university has won 59 awards, including 8 first-class awards, 30 second-class awards, 10 third-class awards, 2 popular reading awards and 9 youth achievement awards, ranking fourth in China.
