The 7th China College Students' “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of Hubei Province, organized by Department of Education of Hubei Province and hosted by Hubei University of Technology, was successfully held in Hubei University of Technology from July 28 to 30. After the competition of 910 projects from all over the province, the project "Rural Legal Aid - The first private legal aid agency in China to empower rural revitalization" supervised by Xiang Yan, Ban Xiaohui and Zhang Qiong of our school performed well and won the Gold Award in the "Youth Red Dream Building Journey" track.

The project "Rural Legal Aid - The first private legal aid agency in China to empower rural revitalization"with the help and support of Wuhan University Law School and Wuhan University Legal Aid Center, combined with the current era of "rural revitalization, law first", created the "Luo Jia - Rural Legal Aid Model", which consists of one center, two platforms, three services and multiple bases. "This model consists of one centre, two platforms, three services and several bases. Through the establishment of village legal aid bases, the model provides regular professional legal services to grassroots legal workers and village residents. We can answer, collect and collate legal problems encountered by farmers through the LAC's WeChat public number and the "Luo Jia Legal Aid" mini-program platform, and provide targeted legal literacy and door-to-door legal consultation services to build a new model of long-term village legal intellectual support.

Since the launch of this year's "Internet+" provincial competition, a total of more than 68,000 projects and 305,000 people from 131 schools across the province have registered for the competition, with the scale of participation and the variety of projects reaching a new record. The team's achievement in this competition is not only an attempt of Wuhan University Legal Aid Centre in the new era, but also an innovation of our students in extra-curricular academic and scientific activities, through the competition to promote learning, enhance students' understanding of legal aid and law in practice, and help cultivate young legal talents in the new era.
