On June 19, Professor Lu Yingjie, from Zhongzheng University School of Law in Taiwan, visited our school. She is also the director of the Center for Legal Exchange across the Taiwan Straits. Vice dean Huang Zhixiong welcomed her. Associate professor Liang Wenwen attended the symposium.

Professor Lu Yingjie introduced the general information of Zhongzheng University. Zhongzheng University, located in Minxiong Township, Jiayi County, Taiwan, was officially founded in 1989 as a comprehensive research university. There are seven colleges including law, education, literature, science, social sciences, management and engineering. Zhongzheng University has signed inter-university cooperation agreements with Wuhan University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, Xi'an Jiaotong University and Southwest University of Political Science and Law. This visit may help to further promote the exchanges and cooperation between faculties and students of the two schools

Huang Zhixiong expressed his willingness to further develop exchanges and visits in the field of law on the basis of the original cooperation between the two universities.

Before the conference, Professor Lu Yingjie delivered an academic lecture entitled " The Development of Rules of Hearsay in the Criminal Procedure Law of Taiwan".
