​ Professor Ning Lizhi was Appointed as an Expert of the Expert Advisory Group of the Antimonopoly Committee of the State Council

On March 20, the latest plenary meeting of the expert advisory group of the Anti-monopoly Committee of the State Council was held in Beijing. Zhang Mao, the deputy director of the Anti-monopoly Committee of the State Council, issued a letter of engagement for the experts of the new expert advisory group. Professor Ning Lizhi, a professor Wuhan University School of Law, was employed as an advisory expert.

Gan Lin, the secretary of the Anti-monopoly Committee of the State Council, conveyed the spirit of the speech delivered by Wang Yong who was the director of the Anti-monopoly Committee of the State Council. He encouraged the expert advisory group to focus on the decision-making and deployment of the Central Committee of the Communist of China and the State Council and improve the level of anti-monopoly law enforcement.

Over the past ten years since the implementation of the Anti-monopoly Law, China has devoted itself to establishing competition policies and rules of anti-monopoly system. Many pioneering achievements have been made in anti-monopoly work which includes promoting the construction of a unified, open and orderly market system, safeguarding consumer interests, and promoting competition advocacy.

This expert advisory group was composed of 17 experts from the competition law and related fields. Lang Sheng, the former deputy director of the Legal Work Committee of the National People's Congress Standing Committee, was the group leader. In the meeting, 17 experts of the advisory group expressed their opinions and suggestions on the current and future anti-monopoly work.
