Recently, the National Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences selected 18 excellent articles of the National Social Science Fund of China from the recommended articles of 190 academic journals supported by the National Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences. There were only two articles of law science. Professor Zhang Hui's article " a Community of Shared Future for Mankind: contemporary development of basic theories of international law " published in the fifth issue of Social Science in China in 2018 was rated as one of the excellent articles.

Constructing a community of shared future for mankind was the guiding ideology of China's long-term diplomatic practice in the future. It was necessary for the academic community to clarify the connotation and significance of international law, so as to combine the ideology with the practice. The article a Community of Shared Future for Mankind: contemporary development of basic theories of international law untangled the development of the basic theory of international law. Professor Zhang Hui believed that the concept of community of shared future for mankind could be connected with the theory of international community. The paper has been published for one and a half years and has been downloaded for many times. It had a great impact on international law research. In 2018, it won the prize of the 13th forum of jurists held by China Law Society.
