On January 10, President Dou Xiankang and his team came to our law school in the rain to visit the newly introduced teachers. Xu Dongxing, director of the School's Party and Government Office, Luo Chunming, vice-minister of the Organization Department, Sun Deyuan, secretary of the Party Committee of Law School, Deng Zhaohui, Zhang Hui, deputy director of the Institute of International Law, and others participated in the event.

To the talent introduction in our school like the recruitment of Prof. Ignacio, a high-end expert from Spain, Prof. Tang Zheng, a returned scholar from Britain, Prof. Gao Shengti, an expert in the law of the sea, President Dou gave a positive affirmation. President Dou also asked in detail about the situation of Prof. Su Jinyuan, a representative of the new teachers. Prof. Su talked about his personal feelings and expressed that he would continue to conduct in-depth research in the fields of outer space law, the law of the sea and air law in order to achieve greater results.

Secretary Sun Deyuan briefed on the construction of the law school personnel team and the development goals. Deputy Director Deng Zhaohui introduced the latest situation of the four newly introduced talents of the International Law Institute: Professor Ignacio is applying for the "green card for talents" of Chinese government. Prof. Gao has provided 7 valuable consultation reports to relevant departments and has been highly appraised.

President Dou pointed out that the school will continue to vigorously implement the "talent strong school" strategy, and do its best to improve the conditions to ensure that the talent can focus on teaching and scientific research.
