On September 9, 2019, the opening ceremonies of postgraduate and undergraduate of Wuhan University School of Law were held in the Moot Court of Law School. The ceremony was presided over by Ms. Xie Yawei, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Law School. More than 500 graduates and undergraduates attended the ceremony.

Before the commencement，all the freshmen spontaneously participated in the activities of "taking photos with law school and giving praise to our motherland", and received their "dream cards" to fill in.

At the beginning, all the freshmen and teachers of Law School rose to wish the motherland happy birthday in the form of chorus. Then, Professor Feng Guo, the dean of the Law School, warmly welcomed the arrival of the freshmen of grade 2019. Dean Feng Guo put forward three expectations: first to be virtuous, then to study, to think and to act, finally to develop in all scale. He encouraged everyone to cherish the time in law school.

Mr. Li Long explained to us how to be a law people through vivid and interesting legal history and clarified the importance of law.

Professor Xiao Yongping told us his understanding of postgraduate study through three humorous stories. He pointed out that besides basic trainings, we should also have IQ, EQ, moral integrity and professional Quotient. At the same time, He suggested that we should persevere and do things regularly.

Liu Yida, the representative of postgraduate students and Yu Binbin, the representative of undergraduate students, believed that young students should always pursue truth and make full use of the resources and platforms of Wuhan University to constantly absorb nutrients and thrive.

Xiao Haiyin, the representative of postgraduate freshmen, and Pu Chunyi, the representative of undergraduate freshmen, expressed their expectations for future study and life, calling on everyone to learn to innovate and find their own ways to study in Wuhan University School of Law.

Finally, the opening ceremony ended in the school song of Wuhan University, and the freshmen of law school formally embarked on a new journey from now on.

 We all hoped that the grade 2019 freshmen of Law School could spend a colorful and fantastic time in Luojia Mountain.
