On 14 May, Liu Shude, Deputy Director of the Trial Management Office of the Supreme People's Court visited our school. Dean Feng Guo, Vice Dean He Ronggong and Prof. Luo Kun, Director of the Judicial Case Research Centre, attended the discussion. The two sides exchanged views on some issues involved in class case search.

Dean Feng extended a warm welcome to the visit of Deputy Director Liu and introduced some initiatives of our school in the area of case teaching and research. Dean Feng stressed that he hoped to promote the cooperation with the Office to further enrich the teaching resources and create a platform to serve teaching, research and judicial practice.

Deputy Director Liu expressed that the lack of uniformity in the application of law is a long-standing problem that has plagued the judiciary, and the Supreme Court and courts across the country have attached great importance to this issue and made many efforts in conjunction with the actual situation. On behalf of Mr Zhao Jinshan, Director of the Trial Management Office of the Supreme People's Court, he expressed the hope that cooperation with the WHU Law School would be strengthened in terms of the uniform application of law in similar cases.
