On April 19, the Central Internet Information Office held a theoretical seminar on learning and implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important ideas on Cyberpower. Prof. Huang Zhixiong, Vice Dean of the Law School, Executive Director of the Institute of Network Governance and Chief Expert of the International Institute of Rule of Law, was invited to attend the seminar.
The paper submitted by Prof. Huang, "Drawing Chinese Solutions for Global Cyberspace Governance Change", was selected and compiled into the Compilation of Papers at the conference as one of the study materials for exchange at the conference. The paper focuses on the series of discussions on promoting the change of global cyberspace governance and jointly building a community of destiny in cyberspace in Xi Jinping's Digest of Discourses on Cyberpower, and provides a clear and in-depth explanation of the background, evolution, core meaning and significance of the relevant discourses.
Since the 18th Party Congress, General Secretary Xi Jinping has attached great importance to network security and informatization work and put forward a series of groundbreaking new ideas, new perspectives and new assertions, forming the important thoughts of General Secretary Xi Jinping on Cyberpower. The meeting revolved around the Excerpts to provide spiritual impetus and theoretical support for creating a new situation in network security and informatization work. Zhuang Rongwen, Vice Minister of the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee , Director of Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission attended the meeting and delivered a keynote speech. Wang Qinmin, Vice Chairman of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Director of the National E-government Expert Committee, Zheng Bijian, former Executive Vice President of Party School of the Central Committee of CP.C, and Liu Liehong, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, made exchange speeches. Relevant comrades in charge attended the meeting.
