On June 20, 2019, the 2019 graduation ceremony and degree awarding ceremony of Wuhan University School of law was solemnly held in the College Moot Court at 8:00am. Mr. Zhong Xiongying, the president of Zhuhai Alumni Association of Wuhan University, Mr. Sun Deyuan, the secretary of the Party Committee of the academy, Dean Feng Guo, the deputy secretary Xie Yawei, vice-dean Qin Tianbao, He Ronggong, Zhu Jie, Huang Zhixiong, Wu Yusheng and professor Xu Yawen, professor Xiang Yan, professor Zhang Shanbin, professor Pi Yong, professor Sun Jin, associate professor Luo Ji, Wu Yiwen attended the ceremony to share the glorious moment of all the 2019 graduates of School of Law with their relatives and friends. The ceremony was presided over by Hu Wei, the deputy secretary of the party committee of the academy.

The ceremony began with the solemn national anthem. Dean Feng Guo made a speech at the beginning. He gave precious advice to graduates who were about to embark on a new path of life: "A positive mentality is better than a thousand wisdom forces."

Then, Associate Professor Wu Yiwen gave some suggestions to all the graduates on behalf of the faculty. Firstly, to maintain professionalism and to be able to skillfully use the law is the most basic requirement for a student majoring in law. Secondly, we should adhere to professional judgment and professional ethics. Thirdly, we are expected to keep a cool head.

Subsequently, Mr. Zhong Xiongying, an alumnus of Grade 85, shared some of his experiences in work and life after graduation. He taught everyone to stay grounded and start from the minor matters.

Later, as the representative of the graduates, Dr. Li Lei made a statement to express their feelings.

Yu Binbin, the representative of the 2017 undergraduate students, sent sincere wishes to the graduates.

After the speeches, all the graduates saluted the teachers with formal bows and expressed their gratitude.

The final part of the conference is the academic degree awarding ceremony. The experts distributed the degree certificates to Bachelor's degree graduates, doctor's degree graduates, master’s degree graduates and international graduates respectively.
