On November 2, professors Andrew Robert Johnston and Robert Geoffrey Burrell, the dean of the Law School of the University of Sheffield, UK, visited our school and discussed in the Conference Room 327. Vice dean Huang Zhixiong, and associate professor Liang Wenwen attended the symposium.
Huang Zhixiong welcomed the delegation's visit. He introduced the history, dominant disciplines of our school and indicated that we two colleges could cooperate in the fields such as exchange of visits between teachers and students, academic cooperation. Robert Geoffrey Burrell then introduced the University of Sheffield which was one of 100-year-old famous schools in the UK. Its law school was one of the top ten law schools in the UK. The Law School received international students from more than 30 countries every year and established cooperative relationships with universities in Europe, America, Hong Kong, India and other countries.
After the talks, the two sides decided to sign relevant agreements in the fields of student exchange, joint training of master and doctor, and academic cooperation.
