On November 24, 2019, "cooperation, win -win -- Luojia global lawyers forum" was held in the 120 hall of Wuhan University Law School. The forum was presided over by Dong Bin, the secretary general of the law branch of Henan Alumni Association of Wuhan University, Zhou Yezhong, the vice director of Wuhan University, Zhu Zhengfu, the director of Guangzhou Alumni Association of Wuhan University, Pi Jianlong, the vice director of Beijing Alumni Association, Liu Shaoxiong, the executive vice director of Shenzhen Alumni Association, Hu Guang, the executive director of Shanghai Alumni Association, Huang Zhengdong, the director and senior partner of Dentons (Chicago) law firm, Feng Guo, the dean of Wuhan University Law School, Prof. Qin Qianhong, and alumni representatives from all over the world attended the meeting.
Dean Feng Guo first welcomed all the guests. He hoped that they would actively give suggestions in the forum.
Mr. Pi Jianlong, the vice director of Beijing Alumni Association of Wuhan University, delivered a speech named "the perfect leap of law: from the legal system to the rule of law". He proposed that the China governance had transferred from the rule of law to the rule of China。
After that, Mr. Pi clarified the key point of the speech and pointed out the goals that we should pursue in the context of China governance.
At the end of the speech, he pointed out the developing direction of Chinese law firms. At present, with the further development of globalization, the legal service industry also needed to get touch in the outside world. It was necessary to greatly improve the professionalism of the lawyers.
Later, Liu Shaoxiong, the executive director of Shenzhen Alumni Association of Wuhan University, made a speech. At the beginning of the speech, he expressed his thoughts and feelings on the 40th anniversary of the restoration of law education of Wuhan University. Then Mr. Liu told us how to become a good lawyer with his experience.
Hu Guang, the executive director of the Shanghai Alumni Association of Wuhan University, delivered a speech about "sharing the results of innovation, and promoting high-quality development of law firms". He pointed out that the legal profession was a practical industry, which need a good teacher, a good case and a valuable client. He also asked a question. How should we quickly form a consensus, promote the development of law firms efficiently, treat and reward each partner fairly and reasonably?
In responded to the thought-provoking problem, he put forward three points: first, to promote the innovation of development concept, office mode and distribution mode; second, we should use science and technology to drive professional platform operation; third, we should make full use of the social resources.
Finally, Zhu Zhengfu, the director of Guangzhou Alumni Association of Wuhan University Law School, said that foreign-related legal services had not developed well in China. As law people of Wuhan University, we must seize the opportunity, play a pioneering role, and give full play to the inherent advantages of the research institute of international law. He expressed his expectations for us and wished the lawyers forum better and better.
Next, the alumni thought highly of the forum and expressed expectations on the success of the lawyer forum. They also expressed their gratitude and best wishes to the alma mater.
Dean Feng Guo said that "Luojia global lawyers forum" was planned to hold annually, which was the common aspiration of Luojia law scholars and the common expectation of Luojia lawyers around the world.

The forum reviewed the 40 years that the law school of Wuhan University had gone through. The lawyer alumni had a sense of responsibility and fulfilled the mission in their career. It was acknowledged that legal profession played an important role in legal system construction of China. Lawyers played an important role in safeguarding the rights and interests of the clients, ensuring the correct implementation of the law, and promoting the realization of justice and legal civilization.
