On June 29, the 7th International Interdisciplinary Cloud Forum of Wuhan University——Law Sub-Forum, was successfully held. Li long, Senior Humanities Professor of Wuhan University, Sun Deyuan, Secretary of the Party committee of Wuhan University School of Law, Feng Guo, Dean of Wuhan University School of Law, Qin Tianbao and He Ronggong, Vice Dean of Wuhan University School of Law, attended the forum. The opening ceremony was presided over by Sun Deyuan.
This sub-forum was held online and offline simultaneously. 7 young scholars from Universität Freiburg, University of Utrecht, Chicago-Kent College of Law, Norr Stiefenhofer Lutz, Peking University and other universities and units were invited to participate in the forum.
Dean Feng pointed out that the purpose of the forum is to build a platform for ideological collision and academic exchange for young scholars at home and abroad. Wuhan University School of Law is willing to enhance the understanding between the discipline and young scholars, constantly open up new areas of cooperative research, and jointly promote the development of the law research in Wuhan University.
After the opening ceremony, the sub-forum was divided into three sub-sessions. Dr. Cai Ying from Peking University Law School, Dr. Lu Yang from Universität Freiburg, and Wang Runhua, a researcher of Chicago-Kent College of Law, respectively made reports entitled “The Characterization of Exchanging QR Code in Criminal Law”, “Interpretation of Pure Theory of Law from the Perspective of Taoism” and “Practical Cases in the Forefront of Empirical Research of American Law”. Cui Kai, an associate professor at Hubei University of Economics, and Dr. Wang Ying from Norr Stiefenhofer Lutz, respectively conducted academic exchanges with experts and scholars on the issues of “Research on Personal Information Protection from the Perspective of Criminal Procedure Justice” and “The Conditional Non-Prosecution System on German Minors and Its Enlightenment”. A. P. Zhou chen of Xiamen University discussed the issue of judicial climate governance, and Yu Chuxiao, a doctoral student at University of Utrecht, explained the development of treaty interpretative technique and the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).
In the interactive session, experts and young scholars expressed their opinions actively. At the same time, the experts assessed the young scholars and sincerely invited them to come to Wuhan University for further exchanges and cooperation.
