On the morning of May 11, 2019, the new book launch of History of the Development of Chinese Jurisprudence, sponsored by the Chinese Law Society and co-sponsored by the Society of Jurisprudence of the Chinese Law Society andWuhan University, was held in Beijing. Zhang Wenxian, Wang Qijiang, Xu Xianming, Zhuo Zeyuan, Shen Zhuanghai, Sun Deyuan, Gong Pixiang, Li Lin, Li Long attended the conference.

Director Zhang Wenxian presided over the introduction and speech of the new book. Professor Li Long, the author of the new book, said that the new book systematically expounded and interpreted the theory and historical facts of the development of Chinese jurisprudence.

On behalf of the Chinese Law Society, Wang Qijiang congratulated professor Li Long on his new work and paid high tribute to professor Li Long for his important contribution to Chinese legal undertakings in the past decades.

Shen Zhuanghai, said that Professor Li Long had made important achievements in jurisprudence, constitutional science and law education research. He maintained that professor Li Long was the architect of jurisprudence in the new era.

Li Lin pointed out that professor Li Long was one of the founders of the Jurisprudence Research Society of the Chinese Law Society, and the publication of the new book was the glory of the Chinese Jurisprudence Society.

Xu Xianming presided over the unit of speech and discussion. The professors and researchers thought that the publication of the new book was an important academic document of jurisprudence research in the new era of China.

Experts and scholars，who were from National Administration College，Peking University, Tsinghua University, Wuhan University, Renmin University, China University of Politics and Law, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Southwest University of Politics and Law, Central South University of Finance, Economics and Law, Beijing University of Technology, Nanjing University and Central South University attended the conference.
