Four Projects of Our School were Approved by the National Social Science Fund in 2020

On December 3, the National Office of Philosophy and Social Science announced the list of major projects of the National Social Science Foundation for the year 2020, and four projects of our school were approved.

The approved projects are " Research on the allocation of power to meet the needs of market regulation in the new era" by Sun Jin, " A Study on the International Law of Major Public Health Emergencies" by Feng Jiehan, " A Study on the Institutional Construction of the Extraterritorial Application of Chinese Law in the Perspective of Private International Law" by Guo Yujun and " A Study on China's Claims and Discourse on the Game of International Rules in Cyberspace" by Huang Zhixong.

In 2020, Wuhan University had been approved 15 major national social science projects, ranking second in China. Our school had four projects, which account for nearly one third of the projects of the University.

In recent years, the School of Law has been committed to creating the environment for innovation and strengthening the cultivation of talents. During the process, many experienced teachers, including Feng Guo, Mo Hongxian, Xiao Yongping, Qin Qianhong, Jiang Guohua and Cui Xiaojing, spent their summer holidays guiding the applicants, which played an important role in the application of the project.

The National Social Science Foundation is the main channel for China to support basic research in the field of scientific research, and its projects and research results play a guiding, authoritative and exemplary role. In the past five years, Wuhan University School of Law has been approved for a total of 53 National Social Science Foundation projects, of which 12 are major projects (including major special projects).
