On January 11, 2019, when the final examination of this semester was over, dozens of law school badminton-loving teachers and students gathered in the gymnasium of the Ministry of Engineering and Science. After a semester of intense study and work, they came here to participate in the 2nd Luojia Law Teachers and Students Badminton Tournament. 

Team doubles system was adopted in the competition. Teachers and students were divided into four teams: A, B, C and D. Each team was captained by four high-level athletes. Two teams were drawn to compete, and the two winning teams competed for the second place. According to the competition system, each team should take turns with two players, each scoring 20 points. Because the special competition system had a strong interest and group nature, the whole game was intense and compact. After three hours of fierce competition, group D led by Gao Weichen won the championship by one point. After the competition, the prize presentation and the prize draw were also fantastic. Each participant not only received exquisite gifts, but also the lucky ones got the 2008 badminton World Championship commemorative towels and other lucky awards. The competition was sponsored by Beijing Jintai (Wuhan) Law Firm.

This fraternity competition is a form of the active participation of teachers and students in badminton in Wuhan University School of Law. Badminton enthusiasts of our college formed a law school badminton team under the guidance of the League Committee of Law College, which was trained by high-level athletes. In the past year, they have participated in a series of foreign exchanges and competitions, achieving gratifying results.

Nowadays, the influence of the Badminton Club of Wuhan University School of Law was constantly expanding, with nearly 100 participants, forming a healthy and happy sports atmosphere. It was praised that Wuhan University School of Law was not only the first-class in academia, but also the first-class in badminton enthusiasm.
