On December 6, 2019, the Ninth Congress of Hubei Social Science was held in Wuhan. Li long, a senior professor of humanities and social sciences of Wuhan University, was awarded the honorary title of "Jingchu Social Science Expert " in the second session.
Mr. Li Long was a senior professor of humanities and social sciences of Wuhan University. He obtained the title of "outstanding senior jurist" of China Law Society in 2012. In 1997, he visited Argentina, Chile and France as the head of the delegation of the Chinese Law Society. In 2001, he went to Taiwan to attend an academic conference as the deputy head of the delegation. In 2005, he went to the United States to visit five law schools including Yale University and Columbia University.
“Jingchu social science Expert” was an honorary title which was given to experts and scholars who had made outstanding contributions in the field of humanities and social sciences. It was the highest academic honor in the social sciences of Hubei Province. In 2010, the 1th session of "Jingchu Social Sciences Expert" was held and 13 people were awarded. Tan Chongtai, Ma KeChang, Peng Feizhang, Tao Delin, Feng Tianyu, and Liu Gangji from our university were elected. In 2018, Li Long, Ma Feicheng, Zong Fubang, and Hu Dekun from our university were awarded the honorary title of "Jingchu Social Science Expert".
