Teachers and students of our School attended the Symposium on the work of suspended scholars and legal interns of the Supreme People's Court


On August 28, 2019, the Supreme People's Court held a symposium. The scholars taking a temporary position in the court and legal interns participated in the symposium. Zhou Qiang, the secretary and president of the Party Group of the Supreme People's Court, attended the meeting and made a speech. Dean Feng Guo also attended the meeting and made a speech. Professor Qin Tianbao, legal interns Chen Jingxian, Zhang Linlin and Yang Fan attended the meeting.

Our college and the Supreme People's Court have established a stable bilateral talent training cooperation mechanism. More than ten teachers and students came to the Supreme People's Court for research or internship, which has promoted the transformation of thinking mode, learning methods and legal theory research.

The symposium broadcast the summary videos produced by law interns. Chen Jingxian helped to take photos and edit the video. The video recorded the internship life of the seventh batch of law interns.

Dean Feng Guo pointed out that through a series of explorations, the Supreme People's Court practiced the spirit of Xi Jinping's speech during his visit to China University of Politics and Law with practical actions, and effectively shouldered the important task of cultivating legal talents advocated by General Secretary Xi Jinping. He believed that colleges and universities should fully utilize judicial teaching resources, and the Supreme Court was expected to provide more support for the training of talents in Colleges and universities.

President Zhou Qiang emphasized that we should adhere to the guiding ideology and make positive contributions to the construction of socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics.

Dean Feng Guo and vice dean Qin Tianbao visited our students and urged them to work hard to achieve learning results. They said that Wuhan University School of Law would continue to take effective measures and create conditions to help students to exchange and interact with the Supreme People's Court and other legal departments.
